The recent atmospheric heat-up experienced in the political scenario in Kaduna state which presented itself in what political analysts described as an unending war of words between the two APC gladiators, governor Nasirul El-Rufai of Kaduna state and Senator Shehu Sani representing Kaduna Central is finally put to rest.

This was made possible with the intervention of the national body who during their meeting at the Kaduna APC secretariat took its position on the purported suspension of the senator from both his ward and state executives.

The meeting which was chaired by the vice chairman, Inuwa Abdulkadir in its verdict read to the press considered the suspension unconstitutional and therefore null and void since it is not in conformity with the laid down rules and regulations of the party’s constitution.

Both parties were advised to observe a cease fire by refraining from further media war as it would not augur well for the party, APC. The meeting we learnt remains an indivisible body as against the peddling rumour that the party is fractionized.
