Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank has issued a stern warning to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and its Chairman, Professor Joash Amupitan.

According to Frank, Nigerians will not tolerate any attempt to manipulate the 2027 general election.

He said: “If the 2027 election is rigged, Nigerians will have no choice but to take their destiny into their own hands. What is happening in France, Germany and other European countries will be child’s play compared with what will happen in Nigeria.”

His warning followed the release of the voter register, after Nigerians reportedly spotted AI-generated images and questionable photographs in the document.

Similarly, the presidential candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) raised concerns over the voter register.

However, INEC maintained that the register was still under review, assuring Nigerians that identified errors would be corrected.
