Former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei is in big trouble. Insiders at the Government House, Asaba revealed to us that the politician may be arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) soon.

Our sources told us that the incumbent governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has an axe to grind with the former PDP guber aspirant who has now decamped to the APC. They added the governor is said to have passed sensitive documents implicating the former speaker on a multi-billion naira Delta State Independent Power Plant (IPP) contract to the EFCC.

For those who don’t know, the governor invited officials of the EFCC to the state recently to arrest Permanent Secretaries and other loyalists of former Governor Uduaghan to Abuja.
