Popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham has publicly declared that she is not a member of any political party’s campaign council.

This comes after her name was reportedly included among several prominent entertainers appointed to the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Entertainment and Creative Economy Directorate ahead of the 2027 elections.

The actress made the clarification on Thursday, September 17, via her Instagram Story.

She wrote: “I’m not a member of any campaign council. I have said it recently. I am staying out of politics. Please disregard the supposed inclusion of my name in any campaign committee.”

For those who don’t know, other prominent entertainers listed in the directorate reportedly include veteran actor Jide Kosoko, Eniola Badmus and Bimbo Akintola, as well as Fuji musicians Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Abass Akande Obesere and Adewale Ayuba.
