That a bench warrant has been issued against the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Adewale Akanbi by the Magistrate Court in Osogbo, Osun State is an established fact. But millions of Nigerians do not know why the prominent king got into trouble.

We gathered that a criminal case was instituted by the Oluwo of Iwo Oke, Oba Kadiri Adeoye against him and Oba Adewale Akanbi has refused to appear before the court. This development infuriated Magistrate Olusola Aluko who issued a bench warrant. The implication of this bench warrant is that the king should be arrested and brought before the court at its next adjourned sitting.
