Fresh facts have emerged why the Department of State Services (DSS) ejected their former boss from his official home in Ikoyi, Lagos recently.

Those in the know squealed to us that Col. Are has been living in his official quarters ever since he left the DSS while some serving directors of the Agency are homeless in Lagos.

They added that as a retired Colonel of the Nigeria Army, he gets pension and as a former boss of the DSS he was equally paid entitlements.

That’s not all, our sources said Col. Are was also well paid off as former Deputy National Security Adviser and Acting National Security Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan and yet he has been staying in his official residence for the past five years and simply refused to move out after his tenure. He was the Director-General of the Department of State Services from 1999 to 2007.
