UCH Honours Otunba Gbenga Daniel

The Management of the University College Hospital, (UCH), Ibadan has listed former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba (Engr.) Gbenga Daniel on the institution’s Roll of Honours as part of activities commemorating its 60th Anniversary.

In a letter signed by Mr. A. K. Shiyanbola,  the Director of Administration on behalf of the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Otunba Daniel was identified by the management as one of the few Nigerians who have contributed tremendously to the growth and development of the great institution and thus deserved to be listed on the Roll of Honours.

The event holds on  the 20th of November, 2017 at the Emeritus Professor Theophilus Ogunlesi Multipurpose Hall, UCH South Campus where the former governor will be decorated and presented the plaque of Honour.

UCH, the premier tertiary hospital in Nigeria was established by the Act of Parliament in 1952 and commissioned in November, 1957.
