President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala has lambasted media mogul, Nduka Obaigbena’s Arise Television over what he described as preferential treatment for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

In a post on his X page, Bwala accused Arise TV of giving undue preference to Obi and questioned the station’s coverage of the opposition candidate.

He wrote: “Is anyone watching Arise News morning show gossip trending? They have strong opinion on all the candidates, but when it came to Peter Obi, what they have is advice.”

“Even the tone of their voices when talking about Peter Obi is like surrogates advising their principal.”

“I dare to say that they never had any so-called stories trending adverse to Peter Obi since Obi has been on the ballot.”
