The senator who sponsored the controversial Bill in the senate to send social media users to jail shocking secret has been exposed. Those in the know revealed to us that the senator was the former commander with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Senator Bala Ibn Na’allah was arrested along with 9 others in 1993 for allegedly stealing about 270 kilograms of heroine during the tenure of Mr. Baffa Jumare, who was the Executive Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in 1993.

He was an Ex-NDLEA Commandant of C port in Apapa, Lagos. He and 9 others including the Special Assistant to the Chairman allegedly stole the drugs at the headquarters of the NDLEA command, which was located at No. 2, Roxtone Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. They were detained and kept at Police CID Headquarters, Alagbon Close, Ikoyi, Lagos. The case against Na’Allah and the others is still pending and has never been tried in a court of law due to alleged corruption at the NDLEA.

Millions of Nigerians who are social media buffs are now saying that the senator is hell-bent on sending social media users to jail because he wants to cover up his messy pasts at the NDLEA.

Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah is a lawyer and a pilot. He is married with children.

He was elected to the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from Zuru, Kebbi State from 2003-2011 and elected to the senate in 2015.

He currently serves as Deputy Majority Leader of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
