Police Speaks On 7year Old Boy Burnt To Death In Lagos

fatai-owoseni-lagos-state-commissioner-of-police-1 The Lagos state command in the early hours of 16/11/2016 came across the above report through social media.

Although there are different versions about the location where the incident occurred, a version of the report stated that it occurred in Orile while the other indicated that it happened in Badagry area .

At the receipt of this complaint, the Commissioner of Police CP Fatai Owoseni directed the DPOs in charge of those jurisdictions to ascertain the occurrence and brief the command. As at today 17/11/2016, there is nothing to suggest that it occurred in any of the aforementioned locations or any part of Lagos thereof.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing as the command is assuring the members of the public that if it actually happened in Lagos, perpetrators of such barbaric act will be arrested and prosecuted as it will not tolerate jungle Justice to be melted out to anyone regardless of any offence such person have committed.

The command will keep investigation open until it gets to the root of the matter, however if at the conclusion of investigation nothing indicates that such occurred within the state it will be treated as one of the social media ruse.
