Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, immediate former Minister of State For Defence is very bitter with his fellow PDP chieftain, Chief Bode George.

The ex-minister is so angry and bitter that he forwarded a written complain to the national chairman of the party (PDP).

Now what are the issues? Obanikoro who is aspiring to be the next governor of Lagos State has accused Bode George of interfering in the PDP ward congress that took place in Lagos State recently. The guber aspirant wants the national leadership of the party to call Bode George to order.

Those in the know about the bitter war between the two politicians told us that Obanikoro is cognizant of the fact that it is the ward congresses that elect delegates that would choose candidates that PDP would field for general election against other parties and he doesn’t want Bode George to take total control of them as that will affect his chances at the PDP governorship primary in Lagos State.

Insiders told us that Obanikoro had unresolved issues with Bode George right from the last guber election he contested against the incumbent governor, Barr. Babatunde Fashola and he doesn’t want history to repeat itself.

Some PDP supporters in Lagos State hinted us that it is this bitter war between Obanikoro and Bode George that will make PDP to lose the governorship election to APC this time around as they are always at loggerheads during any election. They argued that if PDP really wants to win Lagos State, the party must find a way to reconcile the duo so that they can work together in the interest of the party.
