Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) president, Joe Ajaero has been released by the Department of State Services (DSS).

Ajaero was released on Monday night. He was released on administrative bail.

We gathered his release was a move to avert a potential shutdown of the economy.

Omoyele Sowore disclosed this in a statement via his official X account.

He wrote: “BREAKING: The fascist regime of @officialABAT has released the @NLCHeadquarters President Joe Ajaero from @OfficialDSSNG custody on bail.”
