Honourable Leo Ogor, minority leader of the House of Representatives is down with stroke and has been flown to Switzerland for medical attention. Insiders said: “He in Switzerland as we speak, he is in the hospital and he his cooperating very well with the medical team. He is now undergoing speech therapy, if things work according to plans; he should not stay long in that country. He won’t rule out the possibility of political pressures and a probe by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission”

“The man is jostling to return to the NASS and he plans to move up to the Senate. But the EFCC is trying to scuttle that for him, they are looking into his claims on constituency projects. He would surely get the Senate ticket if they don’t trouble him again, because his constituency loves him, they want him in the Senate. But the EFCC has asked him to come clean; they might not allow him to run. You know this is politics, he is in the opposition and they may want an APC man there in 2019, though PDP controls his state.”
