Veteran Nollywood actor, Hanks Anuku, has opened up about the struggles he has faced in his personal life.

Speaking during an interview, Anuku lamented that the loss of his wife, who was also the mother of his children, deeply affected him.

He said: “When I lost my woman, you know, mother of my children, it’s deep and it hurts. I was depressed a bit. Sometimes I miss her and I just wanted to get out. It’s all good. God loves me more.”

“From friends as well, they betrayed me. Yeah, but reach out to do what? some want you dead. Some even want you to go mad and all that.”
