Popular Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, has cried out to Nigerians over the safety of her children, who live with her ex-husband, Mutairu Atanda Orilowo.

The actress raised the alarm in a video shared on her social media page, where she called out her former husband and expressed concerns about the well-being of their children.

Captioning the video, she wrote: “This is a difficult call. However, at this point every necessary step needs to be taken. And valuable intercession sought. All I want is my children’s safety.”

“My baby father has refused the children to be with me. This is a sad reality for me because my boys are not with me.”

“My worries are my kids being with another woman that is not treating them well. As God will have it, I was recently on the phone with my children and there was an argument in the house of the baby father with his wife and some of his children and mine.”

“And I heard the wife telling one of the boys in the house to strangle my children’s necks instead of beating them where the scars would be seen by their father.”

For those who don’t know, Laide Bakare got married to Mutairu Atanda Orilowo (second husband) in 2013. She had two sons with him after divorce from her first husband, Olumide Kunfulire in 2012.
