Gov. Okowa’s Secret Plot Against Urhobo And Itsekiri People Exposed

Gov. Ifeanyi-OkowaFew days into office, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has started plotting against the good people of Urhobo and Itsekiri tribes of the state. Insiders told us that the first blow the new governor gave the Urhobo and Itsekiri people is the Asaba Capital Development Bill which he sent to the Delta State House of Assembly and the lawmakers pass it into law with 24hours.

Our sources told us that the governor is bitter that Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) has been used to provide infrastructures for the people of Delta South and Central by other governors and he wants to use the Asaba Capital Development Bill to cater for the Igbo speaking people of the state.

That’s not all, insiders said that lawmakers from Delta South and Delta Central that opposed the bill were threatened by the governor’s loyalists that their entitlements will not be paid if they dare oppose the bill.

Our sources within Government House Asaba, hinted us that the new governor has already started a silent tribal war in the state with some of his actions which is already pitching his Igbo speaking people against the Urhobo, Itsekiri and Isoko people. They added that he has made up his mind to close down Government House Annex, Warri which was used by Ex-Governors James Ibori and Emmanuel Uduaghan to get closer to the ordinary people who cannot afford transport money to Asaba to see their elected governor.
