Popular actor and movie director, Omogoriola Hassan is in trouble.

Goriola, a former husband of Nollywood actress, Ayo Adesanya ran into trouble for parading himself as the Oba of Imobi in Ijebu-East Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Goriola had been parading himself on social media as the new king of Uba land, Imobi Kingdom.

He even created an official Instagram account with his bio reading; “His Royal Majesty Alayeluwa Ilufemiloye I, The Aje of UBA Kingdom.”

However, his actions has attracted the attention of the Ogun State House of Assembly and they have ordered him to appear before the Assembly Committee on August 17, 2021.

According to the Committee failure for the actor to honour the invitation will lead to his arrest.

Meanwhile, the Ogun Assembly Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs said on Tuesday, August 10, that the actor had earlier failed to honour an invitation sent to him by the lawmakers.

Goriola has been asked to appear before the House Committee with all the 36 Baales (Local Chiefs) under the community.
