Globacom Promotes Women Empowerment

Nigeria’s telecoms giant, Globacom as one of the major sponsors of this year’s edition of the annual conference of the Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) has stated its commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at improving a lot of women on all fronts.

“Women empowerment is necessary for the emancipation of the family unit from subsistence level of living. Globacom is committed to supporting initiatives aimed at improving the lot of women on all fronts, including at the workplace.”

“When you empower a woman, you improve the overall wellbeing of the family unit, as a woman plays a pivotal role in the stability of a home”, the company said in the statement.”
