Factional Chairman of Nigeria Football Federation, Mr. Chris Giwa has shunned and disobeyed the directives of the Sports Minister, Barrister Solomon Dalung not to take over the Glass House, Secretariat of the NFF. Mr. Giwa whom a High Court in Jos gave victory over Amaju Pinnick has been threatening to take over the NFF Secretariat by force.

Mr. Chris Giwa has equally announced the dissolution of all States Football Associations as against the orders of the sports minister. Meanwhile, FIFA has threatened to ban Nigeria from the world football body and activities if Chris Giwa is allowed to have his way.

It is interesting to know that Amaju Pinnick and Chris Giwa sometimes in January, 2016 exchanged blows at a peace meeting called by the Sports Minister.

Meanwhile, Giwa has always claimed that the September, 2014 election which brought Pinnick into office was faulty and the case was ruled out by FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sports.
