A teenage girl has revealed that her father, Mr. Ede Tyndale has been having sexual intercourse with her for 8 years.

She said; “Yes, daddy has been sleeping with me since I was 11 years old. He deflowered me. Whenever I resisted, he would threaten to beat me. He also threatened to kill me if I refused or told anybody. I kept quiet because I was scared I could be killed”.

Her mother told authorities that she started suspecting the two when she noticed her daughter disrespecting her father.

Her reaction was to beat and scold the girl until she decided to use dialogue which brought the matter to the fore.

The father has since been arrested by men of the Family Support Unit, Lagos State Police Division.

Lagos State Police Spokesman, DSP Elkana Bala, said;

“The suspect confessed to the commission of the crime. After a thorough investigation into the case, the suspect was charged to the Chief Magistrate Court ll, Ogba, on five-count charges of Incest, Rape, Sexual harassment, Defilement, and Sexual assault.”
