The Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefiele made a shocking confession recently. The former Managing Director of Zenith Bank revealed that he was not cognizant of any agreement between the Central Bank and System Specs Ltd., owners of Remita Software that was allegedly paid N25billion in which the TSA is operated.

The top banker who hails from Delta State also disclosed that he was not even aware of the payment of the huge amount of money to the e-collection agent until the Senate and Federal House of Representatives raised dust about it.

Mr. Emefiele made this shocking revelation to the Senate Joint Committees on Finance, Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions and Public Accounts headed by Senator John Enoh.
