Buhari’s Aide Mocks Saraki

President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie is now making mockery of Senate President Bukola Saraki over the National Assembly’s vote of no confidence passed on the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and the threat to impeach the president.

Onochie said this while reacting to a Twitter user, DeeOneAyekooto, who wrote: “Godfather of Armed Robbers passed a VOTE of No Confidence on the Inspector General of Police.”

In her reaction she tweeted, “Change means we are all equal before the law. It’s, therefore, unfair and extremely sad that only the young Nigerians who were caught for bank robbery, are being incarcerated. Their alleged accomplice, is sitting in the chamber of the House of Senate making provoking threats.”

For those who don’t know, the National Assembly at an emergency joint session on Tuesday June 5th, 2018 reaffirmed its vote of no confidence on the IGP.

The lawmakers equally threatened to invoke its constitutional powers against Buhari over the “Systematic harassment and humiliation by the Executive of perceived political opponents.”
