If there is one lady who is going to play a vital role in the lives of children and women in Lagos State for the next four years, she is Mrs. Bolanle Patience Ambode. She is the amiable and loving wife of Lagos State APC governorship candidate, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode who many Lagos residents now see as the next governor of the state going by the popularity of APC in Lagos State and how the party has turned Lagos State around for the past 16 years.

Mrs. Ambode was born on 15th February 1964. She obtained her Bachelors and Masters’ degrees from the Lagos State University in 1989 and 1994 respectively, majoring in Physics/Mathematics and Public Administration.

She has attended several short courses including some in Bakery Technology. She has garnered more knowledge and skills by attending numerous conferences and other international trainings.

With work experience spanning over 10 years, she has worked in various sectors of the economy including banking, finance and consulting. She was a former staff of the defunct People’s Bank of Nigeria, Instant Finance Nigeria Limited and Aquagem Consulting Limited.

She currently runs Rehoboth Chops and Confectioneries Limited as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer. A simple, humble and unassuming achiever, Bola is happily married.

She is the Vice President of Alfred Debbie Opal Foundation (ADOF).
