Amaju Pinnick Returns As NFF President

These are good times for Amaju Pinnick as he has emerged President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in an election conducted on Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Katsina by NFF.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) disclosed this via its official twitter account; “Pinnick Amaju re-elected NFF President. He scored a total of 34 votes, Maigari 8 votes, Ogunjobi 2 votes, and Okoye 0 votes. #NFFElections #NFFElections2018”

This is good news for all the fans and supporters of the Delta State born sport administrator as he came out with landslide victory of 34 votes over his contestants; Maigari – 8 votes and Okoye – 0 votes.

It is interesting to know that Pinnick before his re-election was the president of the Nigeria Football Federation and First Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). He was elected to the position in September 2014.
