President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, Aisha Buhari on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 inaugurated the new office building of Daura Grassroots Women Initiative. The initiative is a women’s association designed to empower women towards self-reliance.

The president’s wife also used the medium to donate a groundnut extruder machine to the center for the women.

According to Aisha Buhari; “The machine is my own contribution to the success of the center to enable the women process groundnut related products, I promise to also assist in the marketing of the end-products through the Future Assured Programme.”
