Abuja Concerned Citizen Forum To Raise N100 Million To Fight COVID-19

Abuja Concerned Citizen Forum has set machinery in motion to raise the sum of one hundred million naira (N100m) to support the fight against coronavirus.

A joint statement signed by Earl Osaro Onaiwu, Dr. Onuoha and Dr. Sadiq Ibrahim reads;

“We have found it auspicious at this time to come together for the purpose of mobilising resources to support the government as it strives to wipe out the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria and particularly Abuja.”

“As you all may be already aware, Abuja is next to Lagos in terms of the number of persons confirmed to have tested positive to the virus.”

“We therefore cannot fold our arms knowing well that the logistics on ground cannot adequately cater for the containment and management of the pandemic in case of further spread.”

The group then called on all persons of means to join efforts with the group to achieve its objective of making Abuja safe for all.
