These are not the best of times for Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State. The APC governor is said to be very angry with his Ogun State counterpart, Gov. Ibikunle Amosun. Insiders squealed to us that the Oyo State governor’s anger stemmed from the fact that his colleague has given his political enemies enough information to send the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after him.

Our sources disclosed that both governors are using the same contractors to construct flyover bridges in their states and the Ogun State governor innocently gave out the amount the bridges cost his state and this amount is lower than what the Oyo State governor is paying to the contractors. This revelation has made the Oyo State governor’s political enemies to forward a petition to the EFCC.

We were told that the Oyo State governor would have lots of questions to answer at the EFCC when he leaves office and he is not finding it funny at all.
