Senator representing Kogi Central, Senator Ahmed Ogembe has escaped death by whiskers.

The lawmaker on Friday, February 15, 2019 survived a ghastly accident along the Abuja-Lokoja road on his way to Okene, Kogi State for elections.

According to his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Duke Opeyemi, he said;

“The accident occurred at about 9am on Friday, at Gegu community in Kotonkarfe LGA of Kogi State.”

“His bulletproof car somersaulted several times, but Senator Ogembe and other occupants of the vehicle came out alive and un-hurt.”

For those who don’t know, Senator Ahmed Ogembe is a serving senator and is seeking re-election under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 National Assembly election.
