The People’s Democratic Party Candidate for Lagos West Senatorial District, Mr. Segun Adewale has been described as a thug by Hon. Solomon Olamilekan Adeola aka Yayi. The Lawmaker is the APC candidate for the same senatorial district.
The Lawmaker said this at the Celebrity Roundtable put together by League of Soft Sell Publishers which took place at Excellence Hotel, Ogba, Lagos on Monday March 2nd, 2015.
Hon. Solomon Adeola, member of the Federal House of Representatives explained to the audience made up of Publishers and Editors of all the prominent Soft Sell Magazines in Nigeria that the PDP candidate is only looking for popularity through him and he will never allow him to get it so cheap. He said for the past twelve years, he has worked very hard for the fame he is enjoying as a lawmaker, so Segun Adewale should also go and work hard if he wants to be popular.
He said there was a time the PDP candidate came to his campaign office with thugs and they started shouting at his office. He added that Segun Adewale and his thugs even assaulted the policeman at the gate of his office and when he was asked what he came to do at his campaign office, he said that he came to complain that some people are tearing his posters. The Lawmaker wondered if his office is a police station where people make complains.
The APC Lawmaker who is a Chartered Accountant told guests at the event that he will defeat the PDP candidate hands down during the election as Lagos West Senatorial District which is the largest senatorial district in Nigeria can never vote for a thug to represent them at the senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
