Osinbajo’s 10 Million Dollars Saga Latest

Following the re-emergence of a video on social media where Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo was alleged to have collected the sum of $10 million at the expense of the victims of the 1996 tragedy of Kano failed drug test, a certain Anthony Maxwell has dismissed the allegation as the flippant desperation of political jobbers who want to tarnish the VP’s records.

Professor Yemi Osinbajo

Maxwell debunked claims in the report that “Simmons-Coopers Partners of which Prof Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) was Principal Partner” threw principles of justice into the wind for $10 million (blood money) and denied the victims of the 1996 tragedy of justice by conniving to allow the heinous crime against the Nigerian children go unpunished through ethical malpractices and sheer profiteering from the tragedy.

Maxwell said; “This post reeks of urgent Desperation to tarnish the impeccable records of the Vice-President. For the sake of Knowledge and quality information, this video was first released in 2015, during the election campaign and was funded by the opposition party.”

“If you really do a background research on this so-called “crap” of publication, you will find out that the law firm, Simmons and coopers partners (SCP) won the case for the state government against Pfizer pharmaceuticals. Both parties settled for the construction of a hospital worth $35million and a $75million compensation fee; out of which $10million went to the “law firm” as their professional fee and not the “Vice-president”.

“SCP is an international law firm and the vice-president was never among the partner name. As of the time this case was in court, the vice-president was but a junior partner and there are no proofs that he was among the prosecution team.”

“I really could go on and on with “facts” on this issue. The truth is that if Prof. Osinbajo was never elected as the Vice-president, this crap of an info will not even be a subject worth talking about.”

“p.s. PDP, I am sure you all can do better than being petty with your bunch of writers that are too lazy to carry out a proper research. Kudos to the Vice-President and his team!!!”

“The victims received $65million while the law firm, I repeat “law firm” and not the vice-president, were paid $10million as their professional fee.”
