There are strong indications that the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly is seriously nursing the ambition to become the next governor of Lagos State. This is not new to many Lagosians but the question now is, can this ambition really come to reality based on the various allegations before this number one lawmaker in the state. The recent allegation is the misappropriation of funds belonging to the House by the speaker. We were informed that EFCC has gathered every fact it needed to prosecute this lawmaker and if everything works out as planned by EFCC, this gentleman may be sanctioned after May 29, 2015. So, the possibility of Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji becoming the next governor is very slim unless he can prove beyond reasonable doubt that he is not guilty of these allegations, sources revealed.
