That Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has on Friday, June 19th, 2020 joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is an established fact.

Be that as it may, his Delta State counterpart, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has with open arms received him into the party.

Okowa took to his Twitter page to welcome Obaseki.

He wrote; “I welcome my brother, Governor Godwin Obaseki, to our great party, the People’s Democratic Party!”

“As you join us on this platform, we shall work to ensure that you continue the great work that you have started for the people of Edo State.”
