Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has now joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Obaseki made the declaration on Friday, June 19th, 2020 at the PDP Secretariat, Benin City, Edo State during a meeting with the party stakeholders in the state.

However, PDP has taken to its official Twitter page to share the video of Governor Obaseki formally joining the PDP.

It also wrote; “The governor of Edo State, H. E. Governor Obaseki has defected to our great Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The declaration was made this afternoon at the state Secretariat of our party in Benin city, Edo State. Power to the people.”
