OC Blue Whisky Steals Show At Sun Awards

Since inception in 2003, the Sun Newspapers Awards has retained its pride of place as one of the most prestigious in Nigeria. Hosted at the Eko Hotels, the awards has the objective of rewarding excellence at its peak in the lives and achievements of everyday Nigerians from the man in the street to the best politicians, statesmen, industrialists and politicians. Previous events has seen ordinary policemen wining the sun man of the year awards, for taking bullets in the line of battle with armed robbers! With awardees picked by astute journalists, the sun newspaper awards is the cleanest in the country as it is neither bought, nor awarded for ‘sponsorships’ as has become the norm in Nigeria.
The 2015 awards which took place recently at the prestigious Eko Hotels as usual saw the turnout of the best of individuals that Nigeria has to offer from all walks of life. The show had the turnout of super achieving Nigerians such as previous Sun man of the year, Aminu Tambuwal. With host/compere Gbenga Adeyinka, setting the show in perfect momentum with panache, in a perfect ambience, the whole evening was a success and a roll call of patriotic human building blocks of the positive Nigerian society, even as Governor Wamako emerged as the winner of the Sun Man of the year 2015
As the evening progressed, one of the most outstanding observations was the strong presence of the OC Blue whisky brand.
