Oba Rilwan Akiolu of Lagos State disclosed recently that some of his best friends in this world are Igbos and he has nothing against them living and doing their legitimate businesses in Lagos.
The Oba said Eze Odimegwu, former MD of Nigerian Breweries is one of his best friends. He revealed that the video which showed him threatening Igbos to vote for Akinwunmi Ambode before the just concluded governorship election was a misrepresentation of what happened when he hosted Igbo leaders in Lagos State.
The Oba noted that Lagosians are the friendliest people in this country. But the non-indigenes in Lagos should also respect the traditional leaders in Lagos State.
