More Friends Will Desert Me After May 29 – President Jonathan

Goodluck JonathanPresident Goodluck Jonathan has revealed what fate has in stock for him after May 29 when he hands over power and leaves Aso Rock. The President told worshippers at Cathedral Church, Abuja recently that he was aware of the fact that more of his friends will abandon him to his fate when he leaves office come May 29 this year.

Be that as it may, the president thanked the ordinary Nigerians for their support all these years. He said that he is very happy that he came to Abuja with his family peacefully and he is also leaving with them to Bayelsa State peacefully. According to him, he would have loved to dance more than King David in the Bible in praising God.

President Jonathan said the soldiers and policemen who have been dying for Nigeria have not received 0.5 percent of the benefits that he has received from Nigerian government, so he is ready to pay the supreme price for peace and stability of Nigeria. The President requested that his favourite hymn; “Stand By Me” to be played for him again during the church service.
