Ganduje’s Wife In Big Trouble

Kano State governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s wife, Hafsat is in hot soup.

The First Lady of Kano State has been dragged to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) by his son, Abdulazeez Ganduje.

We gathered that the son wrote a petition to the EFCC, detailing how his mother was engaged in alleged fraud and collection of bribes.

The EFCC has invited the mother last week but she is yet to honour the invitation.

Sources who saw the son’s petition said;

“Abdulazeez was approached by a property developer to help facilitate the acquisition of some plots of land in Kano with some hundreds of thousands of US dollars and at least N35 million as facilitation commission.”

“Abdulazeez claimed that he paid the sum in dollars to his mother, Mrs Ganduje.”

“But three months later, (the property developer) discovered that the plots of land he wanted and had paid the first family for had been allocated to other buyers and he then requested to be refunded.”
