Star actress, Funke Akindele is in hot soup for not attending her father’s funeral.

Funke’s dad, Revd. Godwin Olusoji Akindele, died on Saturday, December 7, 2019, after a brief illness, aged 73.

The Bishop of Methodist Church Nigeria, Diocese of Ikorodu, Rt. Rev Samson Osundina delivering the burial sermon, thanked the children for taking care of their father when he was ill, but stressed the fact that paying him the last respect as children was very important.

He suspended the outing and thanksgiving service until the deceased’s children are available to attend.

The actress and her sibblings did not show up at the funeral.
