FRSC Hit By Fire Outbreak

These are not the best of moments for the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) as the Galaxy Fibre Link, which provides Internet services to the FRSC has shut down its operations, making it seemingly impossible to carry out any operation via the internet.

The fire outbreak affected the internet supply to the FRSC headquarters and has led to temporary shutdown of all its online operations.

In an announcement made by Mr. Bisi Kazeem, Corps Public Education Officer of the FRSC, he said: “As a result of fire outbreak that affected the Galaxy fibre link, it is currently experiencing internet outage at HQ and FCT command, which has affected e-mail, Driving School Standardisation Programme, National Vehicle Identification Scheme, Road Transport Safety Standardisation Scheme, and Speed Limiting Devise portals, regrets inconveniences as effort is ongoing to resolve it.”
