Popular Nigerian singers, Davido and Erigga are now at war, with the two artistes resorting to social media to trade insults over their differing views on wealth and success.
In a fresh development, Erigga took to his X page and wrote:
“Big man pikin dey cry say poor men children de hail dem self??? Motivate yourself naw. Ambassador of RICH KIDS.”
Davido, returning the favour, fired back at the rapper, writing:
“Ambassador of POVERTY cry on oo.”
The fight began after Erigga shared a post praising musicians who did not come from wealthy backgrounds and had to work hard for every dollar they earned.
He wrote: “Shoutout to all the musicians who don’t come from family money and had to grind for every single dollar they earn.”
Reacting to the post, Davido argued that musicians from wealthy families also work hard to achieve success.
He wrote: “No be we say make your pops no guard o. Shoutout to the ones that came from family money and still grind to the top.
“No worry o, I go soon leave their music for una go make my billions… then that shit gonna be boring AF. Deep down, who like poverty?”
