Former Military Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida’s brother-in-law, Chief Sunny Okogwu is dead.

We gathered that Sunny Okogwu was the elder brother to IBB’s late wife, Maryam and he died at an Abuja hospital by an undisclosed illness.

According to sources; “The death of Chief Sunny Okogwu is a great loss to the ordinary Nigerians, who benefited from his humanitarian gestures.”

The deceased was a businessman based in Kaduna and a title holder; ‘Ojise of Asaba’. He was also a former presidential candidate of the Republican Party of Nigeria in the 2007 presidential election.
