Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick made some revelations recently… “I believe that if you work you should earn your dues, but the current economic situation has put us in a very precarious situation in terms of funding. It’s not just Nigeria but a global recession and it’s very difficult to fulfill all our financial obligations because the government is struggling.”

It is interesting to know that the NFF is still owing late Coach Stephen Keshi and Amodu Shuabu. The likes of Monday Eguavon, Sylvanus Okpala and Samson Siasia have not been paid salaries up till now.
