Popular human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu has dropped a bombshell, alleging that some Nigerian pastors and imams are on the payroll of politicians.

Yesufu made the claim in a post shared on her verified X handle on Monday.

She wrote: “Nigerians want to pray their way to good governance! The same prayers that the politicians giving you bad governance are out-praying you on!”

“They even have your religious rulers on their payroll. You bring sadaqah and tithes in thousands they bring theirs in billions.”
