A Lagos-based clergyman, Pastor Olukayode Famuyiwa recently submitted that the world has been characterised with cruelty and perils worse than sins which consumed Sodom and Gomorrah.

Biblically, Sodom and Gomorrah were two evil cities that God destroyed with a rain of fire and brimstone for their homosexuality.
Famuyiwa spoke on Sunday 10th September, 2017 during the 9th Youth Fellowship harvest anniversary at Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church (Ayo NI o), Surulere District, Abeokuta Branch, (Restoration City), Onikoko, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
He is a preacher at Disciple of Christ Ministry (DCM), C and S Movement Church, Surulere District, Lagos. The Cleric expressed regret that apart from homosexuality which has become the order of the day, rituals and sale of children to earn a living abounds in the society.
In his message titled; “Divine Restoration”, Famuyiwa asked Nigerians to return to God with total submission, saying ‘this is the only grace to survive and live above the perils.’
He therefore tasked Christians on repentance, impactful lives and soul-wining for God. Famuyima added that 95 percent of Christians today are ‘mere bench warmers’ without commitment to work of God.
His words; “The world today is characterised with extreme worldliness. It’s worse today than days of Sodom and Gomora. Today, you see couples enter into mutual agreement and use their children for rituals. Some husbands even used their wives for rituals and vice versa.”
“Some C & S wine and dine with the devil, yet they put on white garment and claim to be holy. How do you dine with devil? If you engage in fornication, if you cheat and worship other gods, you are dining with the devil.”
