Popular singer Davido’s logistics manager, Israel Afeare, popularly known as Israel DMW, has publicly criticized Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo over the reported ban on Davido from performing in the state.

The governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media, Apostle Kassy Chukwu, announced in a video on Friday that Davido had been banned from performing in Edo State following his online altercation with Governor Okpebholo during the Osun State governorship election.

Reacting to the announcement, Israel DMW, who hails from Edo State, took to Instagram to lambast the governor and his aide.

Sharing a photo of Apostle Kassy Chukwu on his Instagram page, he wrote:

“He’s from Ebonyi State, and not from Edo. 100% a real settler, who has become a complete nuisance in Benin City. An APC fake pastor, a cum pastor. A beer palour pastor.”

“Kindly disregard what he’s saying. He’s not speaking for we Edolites. No man on this planet earth, can ban oga from Edo, his maternal home. Idiot of a pastor.”
