The Acting aDirector of Bank of Industry (BoI), Mr. Waheed Olagunju is in trouble as he narrowly escaped being arrested by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) when they stormed his office recently. Those in the know squealed to us that the operatives of the EFCC came to pick up the top banker over allegation of illegal sale of the bank properties and shares without due process and allegation of misapplied funds belonging to the Cement Technology Institute of Nigeria (CTIN).

Besides, the bank’s former MD, Rasheed Olaoluwa has been invited by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to answer questions of these alleged frauds.
