Mrs. Tomi Somefun has been Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Unity Bank Plc since August 12, 2015. Mrs. Somefun served as Executive Director of Lagos & Southwest of Unity Bank Plc until August 12, 2015. Mrs. Somefun served as an Associate at Ventures & Trusts from 1989 to 1992. Earlier, Mrs. Somefun worked at KPMG as a Senior Audit Assistant from 1982 to 1986 before joining Arthur Andersen & Co in 1986 to 1989 as an Audit Senior. She had been an Executive Director at Unity Bank Plc since May 2015. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and completed her degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University (formerly University of Ife) in 1981 with a Bachelor of Education in English Language.
