Bode George Bombs Gbajabiamila

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Bode George has lambasted President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila over remarks attributed to him regarding the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

George said: “I’m very shocked when I saw the video of my younger brother, Femi Gbajabiamila, you know that people make mistakes and I did not under any kind of circumstances believe that he would make that kind of mistake.”

“It was utterly wrong and he must apologize to the public for that statement, that is my stand, he is my brother and I can’t denounce him but what he said was a monumental political mistake, he should apologize for making that mistake publicly. I don’t agree with him.”

For those who don’t know, Gbajabiamila had at a birthday event hosted by House of Representatives member Leke Abejide, Gbajabiamila reportedly urged a faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), led by Nafiu Gombe and Abejide, to sustain internal disruptions within the party.

Gbajabiamila also commended Abejide’s contributions to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and advised him to disregard pressure from party members calling for his formal defection to the ruling party.
