Ex-Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State has expressed sadness over the death of veteran journalist, Josiah Abiola via his facebook page…

“Woke up this morning to read about the death of a very dedicated journalist, Mr. Josiah Abiola. Got to know him when I was SSG. Though not a Deltan, he was quite interested in the affairs of Delta State, projecting the State in a very positive way.”

“Josiah has been there for me. May his soul rest in peace.”

For those who don’t know, the late Josiah Abiola was the Political Editor of Global Excellence Magazine. He was said to have taken ill suddenly on Wednesday July 18, 2018.

He was rushed to a hospital in Oko-Oba, Abule Egba, Lagos and he passed on in the night of that same day. His corpse has been taken to Omega Mortuary, Sango-Ota.

For many years he was the correspondent of Global Excellence Magazine at the Governor’s Office, Alausa, Lagos.
