Tosyn Bucknor Is Dead

Popular On Air Personality (OAP) and actress, Oluwatosin Bucknor, popularly known as Tosyn Bucknor is dead. She died at the age of 37.

We gathered the Inspiration FM’s OAP was found dead by her French husband, Aurélien Boyer on arriving home from work on Monday night (November 19, 2018).

Her former colleague at Top Radio, Mr. Wale Adigun confirmed her death this morning, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 via his twitter handle. He tweeted; “So full of life, excitement and always willing to lend a helping hand. This is so devastating!! “Rest on Voice of Lagos. Rest on Tosyn Bucknor.”

Oluwatosin Bucknor was born on 15th August, 1981. She was a media personality, actress and social media content creator. She was born to Mrs. Sola Bucknor and Mr. Segun Bucknor, a musician, in a cab on August 15.

She attended Fountain Nursery and Primary School, Queens’ College, Yaba, University of Lagos (LAW) and the Nigerian Law School, Lagos (LLB). She did her National Youth Service Corps at Port Harcourt, opting to teach Literature-In-English and English at Archdeacon Crowther Memorial Girls’ School, Elelenwo.

She married her French husband, Aurélien Boyer in November 15, 2015 at Landmark Events Centre, Oniru, Lagos.

She started her Radio presentation with Tee-A on Eko 89.7 FM after which she interned at Cool 96.9 FM where she hosted the Fun Hour Show on Saturdays. Since her youth service in 2009, she had been a Morning Show radio host at Top Radio 90.9 FM. She was the only female radio host handling the Morning Belt by herself.

She had won and nominated for several awards including Future Awards, ELOY Awards, Best of Nollywood awards and so on.
